• Lego and Rubik’s Cube Club

    Let the brain games begin!   • ​Libraries Rock Music Series: Marc Black
    Tuesday, July 17 at 6 p.m.

    Marc Black is, “an eclectic folk-rocker who deals with life, and all its social and political challenges…one song at a time”. He’ll be at the library this summer to present his program A History of the 50s and 60s Through the Lens of Popular Song. Black will use a wide range of popular songs and a slideshow to present an engaging, toe-tapping review of this exciting time in American history.   • Books at the Beach

    Wednesday July 18 at 6:30 p.m.

  • Conversational French Language Group
    Thursday, July 19 at 6 p.m.

    All are welcome to join our Fiber Arts Group.  
    If you embroider, cross-stitch, sew, weave, quilt, whatever you do - if it’s done with fiber and it’s portable, we welcome you.

    Jonathan White has a lifelong love for the sea. He’s built and sailed many boats, logged more than a hundred thousand miles on the Pacific and Atlantic, and surfed all over the world. In his book Tides: The Science and Spirit of the Ocean, White combines lyrical prose, colorful adventure travel, and provocative scientific inquiry into the elemental, mysterious paradox that keeps our planet’s waters in constant motion. White brings his knowledge to the library for a presentation and a book signing. Teen Summer Reading Program: Libraries Rock!
June 18-August 11

This summer tweens and teens entering fifth through twelfth grade are invited to register online or in person for “Libraries Rock!”  This age will earn raffle tickets throughout the summer.  Each Friday from June 22 through August 3 we will be giving away prize baskets; on August 10 we will present grand prizes!  This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Wells Public Library.
