  • Teen Game Tournament
    Wednesday, November 29 at 2 p.m.

  • Conversational French Language Group
    Thursday, November 30 at 6 p.m.

  • Fiber Arts Group
    Friday, December 1 at 10 a.m.

    All are welcome to join our Fiber Arts Group.  
    If you embroider, cross-stitch, sew, weave, quilt, whatever you do - if it’s done with fiber and it’s portable, we welcome you.

  • ​Lunch and Learn: Cemetery Symbolism and Superstition with Roxie Zwicker
    Friday, December 1 at 12 p.m.

    Roxie Zwicker, founder of New England Curiosities, has been sharing her stories of New England legends and lore since 1993. Her lectures and speaking engagements have captivated guests, business groups and organizations throughout New England. We are pleased to welcome Roxie to present her lecture, Cemetery Symbolism and Superstition. She will discuss cemetery imagery specific to York County, explaining common themes and beliefs.   • Lego and Rubik’s Cube Club
    Friday, December 1 at 3 p.m.

    Let the brain games begin!     Seeking a respite from the hectic holiday season?   • ​Affordable Care Act Signup
    Thursday, December 7 from 2 to 7 p.m.

    Representatives from the York County Community Action Corporation will be at the library to assist individuals with selecting and signing up for insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act.

Construction Begins!

The Wells Public Library is pleased to announce that construction began on its long awaited building project. Beginning in August, the front parking lot will be closed to the public for approximately 6 months. 

The front entrance to the building will remain open.
